GOVERNMENT-ISSUED ID: Your hotel will ask to see your government-issued photo ID to verify your identity. The name on your ID must match the name you booked for. If you're traveling with a co-traveler, the lead traveler (the person whose account you booked on) should show their ID and must be present during check-in. Acceptable forms of ID are...
- Driver’s license
- State ID Card
- Other valid photo IDs (please check with your hotel)
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD: Most hotels will also require you to present a credit card to cover any incidentals and extra charges that you or your co-traveler incur. Both you and your roommate should present a credit card when checking in, however sometimes the hotel only requires it from the person checking in first.
All incidental and extra charges must be paid for by the individual who incurred the charge, either before or during check-out. For more information about incidentals and extra charges click here.
Note: Some hotels may permit you to use a debit card to cover incidentals and extra charges. Please check with your specific hotel first.
HOTEL RESERVATION CODE: This is listed on the hotel reservation confirmation Roost sent you.
