Use Roost’s Messaging System to contact your roommate. You can access Roost's Messaging System from the Trips Dashboard. Click on your desired trip and then click the "Messages" button underneath "My roommate" or open their profile and click the "Messages" button.
The only person you're able to communicate with on Roost is your roommate. You can start communicating with them as soon as you've been matched, and you can continue messaging them throughout your trip and for up to 14 days after your trip ends. Co-travelers are not able to access using Roost's Messaging System.
For your safety, we strongly recommend that you communicate using Roost's Messaging System so there will be a written record of your conversation. This will help Roost investigate any claims or reports made against your roommate. If you choose not to communicate on Roost's Messaging System make sure that you do so via email or text for the same reason.
Your roommate's cell phone number will be listed on your Roost reservation confirmation. At this point, you should contact each other directly to coordinate check-in at the hotel, or for any urgent matters on your trip.
